Kirby was brought into the JSPCA in Jerusalem when she was just a puppy. Her right front leg had a congenital deformity which required amputation. She lived in the shelter for about 2 years before being brought into foster in NYC in September 2019. She required an additional surgery on her left front limb for congenital issues in October 2019, and still needs additional TLC, but gets around pretty good. She does great with other dogs and also gets along with cats. She is a little shy but very sweet. She needs a patient family and preferably a home with minimal stairs as she is getting around on 3 legs. She may benefit from physical therapy in the future as well. She is available for adoption in Maritime provinces.
